BIGhow to CG like Nukunukuneko

WARNING: FILE MAY BE HUGE

1) Make a quick sketch. I use the SAI program, it's easier to make line art on SAI.

2) Go over sketch with neat lines, this is your main line art. I used the SAI program for this step.
Then save file as .PSD and switch over to photoshop

3) Add a basic background, and lightsource. My lightsource is coming from the bottom. Add color bases.

4) Apply first layer of shading to all base colors. Keep light source in mind.

5) Apply second layer of shading. This is an important layer of shading because it brings out the depths of the image.

6) Apply first layer of lighting. Using your light source to determine where to put the lighting

7) Apply second layer of lighting. This layer, just like the second shade layer, is also important for bringing out the depths of the piece, now you can see your image "pop" out of the flat surface of your screen

8) Clean up any coloring mistakes, colors that arn't in the lines. Clean up any line art mistakes.
Also you want to enhance the image by using a soft brush eraser on AIRBRUSH setting, set at 10%. Carefully erase the lines around the lighting to make it even look more spectaculaaaaaarrr(lol)

9) Apply Front ground if necessary, i added random orbs to give it a magical effect and light gradiant to bring out the lighting.

10) Add a background, i added wings because i wanted her to have wings. plus i still have my frontground, since my computer lags on too much detail i hid the layers.
